How it works

Name it. Record. Make the film.

  1. 01

    Create a project

Name a timeline — Gym, Kid, Trip. Letters and numbers, max 40 characters. Cap is 20. Rename anytime.

  2. 02

    Record

Open it. Hit record. That’s today’s clip. One take is enough.

  3. 03

    Trim to 1s

Pick the second that counts. Save. Same day again? It replaces, not stacks.

  4. 04

    Stitch the film

Every clip in the project, in date order. 365 seconds. About six minutes. Gaps stay gaps.

Make a film

365 seconds. Six minutes. That's a year.

Stitch every clip in a project, in order. One second a day becomes a movie you can actually watch. Start a project for something you don't want to lose.

Baby

Project: First year

Watch them grow in six minutes

Same face, every day. Hospital blanket to first steps. On their birthday, hit play. They change in front of you — no montage, no music bed. Just 365 seconds of them.

The second that counted

Project: Today

Not a highlight reel. The real second.

The laugh. The pause. The street at 7:12. One second you almost didn’t keep. A year of those is a life, not content. Stitch it. That’s the film nobody else has.

Habit

Project: Gym

Proof you showed up

Gym. Pages written. Meditation. The clip is the checkmark. Miss a day, the square stays empty. Stitch December: you either did the year or you didn’t. The film doesn’t flatter you.

Same place

Project: Balcony

One window. 365 skies.

Sunset from the same balcony. The café table. The walk to the station. Weather, light, you. Play it fast and the city breathes. That’s a time-lapse you lived, not one you bought.

Learn

Project: Guitar

Hands getting less stupid

A chord. A word in a new language. A sketch before coffee. January next to December is the lesson. Six minutes of getting better — or of staying honest about the plateau.

Someone you love

Project: Hello

A year of hellos

A dog at the door. A grandparent on a call. A partner making coffee. Next year that film is the thing you keep. One second is small enough that you’ll actually do it.

Why Onese

A year of you. Not a cloud of footage.

On device

Video stays on the phone

Clips live locally. Onese does not upload video to our servers. No cloud video dump.

One per day

One clip. Calendar day.

One second per project per day. Re-save upserts. Miss a day, the square stays empty.

Projects

Create up to 20 timelines

Name a project. Rename it. Delete it. Each one is its own year. Gym and Kid don’t share squares.

Backup

Optional Google Drive

Want a copy off-device? Drive backup is opt-in. Not required. Not automatic.

Phone OTP. That’s it.

Sign in with your number. No password. No social login. No public feed.

The film

Stitch a year into six minutes

Play it on a birthday. Play it on New Year’s. 365 seconds, one movie. That’s the point.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Where do my videos live?

On your phone. Onese is a daily journal, not a host. We do not take a cloud copy of your clips unless you turn on optional Google Drive backup.

Can I save more than one clip a day?

One clip per project per calendar day. Record again the same day and it replaces the last save. Next calendar day, a new square.

What are projects?

Named timelines you create — max 20, names up to 40 characters. Each has its own one-clip-per-day calendar, so a gym year and a kid year don’t collide. Rename anytime. Delete a project and its days go with it.

Is Google Drive required?

No. Backup is optional. Video still originates on-device. Drive is a copy you choose to keep, not the product’s default.

Who can see my clips?

Whoever has the phone. There is no public feed and no cloud video upload to Onese. Phone OTP is for your account, not for publishing.

Can I turn my clips into a film?

Yes. Stitch a project in date order. A full year is 365 seconds — about six minutes. Missed days stay missing. The film is only the days you actually recorded.

iOS and Android?

Yes. Play Store and App Store buttons are on this page. Listings go live with the apps.
