Onese
Terms and Conditions
These Terms govern your use of the Onese mobile app and the onese.in website ("Onese", "we", "us"). Onese is 1 Sec Everyday: create projects, record one second per calendar day, stitch a year into a film. Read these before you use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Onese. By using the service, you represent that you meet that requirement and that you can form a binding contract where you live.
The service
Onese provides tools to name projects (up to 20), record and trim one-second clips (one per project per calendar day), and stitch clips into a single film in date order. Re-saving on the same day replaces the previous clip; missed days stay empty in the calendar and in the film. Features may change; we may add, remove, or modify functionality over time.
Your content
You own the video and other content you record in Onese. You grant us a limited license to process that content on your device and through our systems only as needed to operate the app — for example trimming, storing locally, stitching, and optional backup you enable. You are responsible for your clips and for having the rights to record people, places, and audio in them.
Account
Sign-in is phone OTP. Keep your phone secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
Do not use Onese for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive. Do not attempt to break, overload, or scrape the service; upload malware; or impersonate others. Do not use the app to harass, threaten, or violate anyone's privacy or intellectual property rights.
No public feed
Onese is a private journal, not a social network. We do not operate a public feed of your clips. Optional Google Drive backup is between you and Google when you choose to enable it.
Intellectual property
Onese's name, logo, website design, and app software are ours or our licensors' property. These Terms do not give you rights to our branding or code except normal use of the app and site.
Disclaimer
Onese is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free stitching, or that backups you configure will always succeed. You are responsible for copies of your clips on your device and in any backup you set up.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or clips, arising from your use of Onese. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content, your use of Onese, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this site or in the app. Material changes will be reflected here. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.
