Onese
Privacy Policy
Onese (ONESÉ) is a daily video journal — one second per project per day, stitched into a film. Your clips are meant to stay on your phone. This policy explains what we collect, what we do not collect, and how we use the data that runs the app and this website.
What we collect
Account sign-in uses phone OTP. We collect your phone number to send a one-time code and to associate your account with your projects. We may also collect basic device and app information — OS version, crash logs, and similar diagnostics — to keep the app working. We do not require a password or social login.
Your video
Video clips are stored on your device by default. Onese does not upload your clips to our servers as part of normal use. Optional Google Drive backup is your choice: if you turn it on, copies go to your Google account under Google's terms and privacy policy, not into a public Onese feed.
Project data
Project names, which calendar days have clips, and settings needed to stitch a film may be stored to run the app and sync your account across devices. That metadata is not a copy of your video unless you opt into backup elsewhere.
How we use information
We use collected data to authenticate you, operate projects and stitching, respond to support requests, fix bugs, improve the app, and comply with law. We do not use your clips or phone number for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run the app — for example SMS delivery for OTP — and when required by law. We do not share your clips with other Onese users. There is no public feed. We do not share information with third parties for their marketing without your consent.
Retention
We keep account and operational data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Clips on your phone and in your Drive backup are under your control; delete a project in the app or remove files from your device or Drive to remove them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account data. No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for access to your phone and any backup accounts you connect.
Children
Onese is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Your choices
You can delete projects in the app, stop using optional Drive backup, and contact us to ask about account data or request deletion where applicable. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding access, correction, or deletion of personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
